Master of Ceremony Services
Best for: conferences, galas, award ceremonies, fundraisers, all-hands, product launches, holiday parties
An event lives or dies between the agenda items. Our improv-trained MCs are professionals at exactly the moments a script can't cover: the speaker running late, the AV hiccup, the energy dip after lunch, the auction that needs one more bid. You get warmth, wit, and total composure — never at your guests' expense.
What our MCs handle
- Hosting and flow — openings, introductions, transitions, and closings that keep your run-of-show on time and on tone.
- Audience energy — crowd warm-ups, interactive moments, and recovery when the room goes flat.
- The unscripted — delays, technical issues, and surprises absorbed gracefully; improv training means nothing rattles us.
- Fundraiser craft — paddle raises, live auction support, and donor moments handled with charm and urgency.
- Custom material — opening monologues and interstitial comedy written for your organization (inside jokes responsibly included).
How we prepare
- Pre-event call to learn your audience, agenda, tone, and no-go topics.
- Full run-of-show review with your event team; we integrate with your producer or act as the timekeeper ourselves.
- Names, titles, and pronunciations rehearsed — the small things are the big things.
Pairing tip: many clients combine an MC with a 45-minute icebreaker energizer — one performer, two services, one fee. See Keynotes & Events.
Sound & Lighting
Best for: workshops, offsites, galas, community events, and any room where "can everyone hear me?" is a risk
Nothing undermines a great event faster than a microphone that pops, a speech no one can hear, or a stage lit like a parking garage. We bring clean, right-sized production — and because we run events ourselves, we set up for how rooms actually work, not just how gear manuals say they should.
What we provide
- Sound — PA systems sized for rooms from 20 to 500+, wireless handheld and lavalier microphones, music playback, and mixing for speeches, panels, and performances.
- Lighting — stage wash, podium lighting, uplighting in your brand colors, and simple cue-based looks for awards and reveals.
- An operator — a technician on-site from setup through teardown; you never touch a cable.
- Integration — we coordinate with venue AV, hybrid/streaming setups, and your slide deck so the whole stack behaves.
Why book it with us
- One vendor for facilitation, MC, and production — one call, one invoice, zero finger-pointing.
- Performer-grade standards: if our MC can't hear the back row laugh, the sound isn't done.
Logistics note: tell us your headcount, room dimensions, and venue power situation on the discovery call — we'll spec the right package and skip what you don't need.
Free for Non-Profits & Community Organizations
Our community give-back program — because trust shouldn't have a price of admission
If you're a non-profit, school, charity, or community group running an event for a good cause, our MC services and sound & lighting are free. Fundraisers, galas, school auctions, community theater nights, volunteer celebrations, charity runs — the events doing the most good often have the least budget, and we'd rather be there than bill there.
Who qualifies
- Registered non-profit organizations (501(c)(3) and equivalents).
- Schools, PTAs, and educational fundraisers.
- Community organizations, volunteer groups, and charity events — if you're not sure you qualify, ask. We lean toward yes.
How it works
- Contact us with your event date, cause, venue, and expected headcount.
- We confirm availability — free bookings are scheduled around paid engagements, so earlier is better.
- You get the same preparation, gear, and professionalism as our corporate clients. The only difference is the invoice.
The fine print (it's short): subject to calendar availability and travel range; consumables and venue fees aren't ours to waive. A mention in your program is appreciated but never required.
Booking & Logistics
- Lead time — 2–4 weeks preferred; rush bookings often possible. Non-profit bookings: the earlier the better.
- Coverage — single MC bookings through full MC + sound + lighting + workshop packages.
- Pricing — custom by event size, duration, and gear needs; free for qualifying non-profits. Request a quote.
- Site visits — included for galas and complex rooms.
