Programs & Workshops

Our Offerings

Six program areas, infinitely customizable. Every engagement starts with your goals and ends with a debrief that connects the play to the work. Available as 45-minute energizers, half-day workshops, full-day intensives, or multi-session series — in person or virtual.

Team Performance & Trust

Best for: intact teams, new teams, post-reorg groups, offsites — "team building that doesn't feel like team building"

Most team building fails because it's an activity bolted onto a team, not a practice that changes how the team operates. Our sessions train the behaviors that high-performing teams actually share: speaking up early, building on each other's ideas, treating mistakes as information, and making colleagues look good.

What your team practices

  • Psychological safety behaviors — contributing without self-censoring, failing publicly and recovering together.
  • "Yes, and" collaboration — replacing reflexive "no, because" with building behavior.
  • Cross-functional connection — exercises that mix departments and dissolve silos fast.
  • Shared language the team keeps — months later, "yes, and" is still shorthand in meetings.

Skeptic-proof promise: nobody performs in front of the room. All exercises run in pairs and small groups simultaneously — your most introverted engineer will be fine. We've tested this hypothesis extensively.

Leadership & Executive Presence

Best for: leadership teams, emerging-leader cohorts, executive retreats, board offsites

Improvisers and leaders share a job description: project calm in uncertainty, listen for what's really being said, make decisions with incomplete information, and make the people around you better. We train those muscles directly.

What leaders practice

  • Executive presence — grounded body language, vocal command, and composure when surprised.
  • Adaptive leadership — leading through change and ambiguity without bluffing certainty.
  • Influence without authority — status dynamics, framing, and the listening that earns buy-in.
  • Coaching & facilitation skills — drawing ideas out of a room instead of filling it.

Format note: leadership sessions work brilliantly as a multi-session series — presence skills compound with practice, like any other rep-based training.

Communication & Storytelling

Best for: any team that presents, writes, meets, or talks to humans — so, every team

The highest-leverage workplace skill is also the most under-practiced. These sessions turn communication from an abstraction into a set of trainable behaviors — practiced live, with immediate feedback and a lot of laughter.

What participants practice

  • Active listening — listening to understand rather than to respond (harder, and trainable).
  • Clear articulation — making a point once, well, without fifteen qualifiers.
  • Business storytelling — structure, specificity, and stakes that make ideas memorable.
  • Presentation confidence — thinking on your feet, recovering from stumbles, owning the room. Includes our most-requested exercise: presenting slides you've never seen.
  • Better meetings — contribution habits that cut meeting fatigue and raise participation.

Why it works: public-speaking anxiety shrinks when surprise becomes familiar. After improvising answers, your real quarterly review feels easy.

Sales & Client Engagement

Best for: sales, customer success, account management, support, and anyone client-facing

Every sales conversation is improvised — no prospect follows your script. Improv gives revenue teams reps at the exact skills that close: rapport, discovery, listening past the stated objection, and graceful recovery when the call goes sideways.

What revenue teams practice

  • Rapport at speed — genuine connection in the first ninety seconds.
  • Discovery conversations — question craft and the discipline of listening before pitching.
  • Objection handling — "yes, and"-ing resistance instead of arguing with it.
  • Negotiation agility — reading the room, adjusting in real time, staying relational under pressure.
  • Customer empathy — exercises that put reps inside the customer's experience.

Measurable angle: teams often pair these sessions with call recordings — practicing the same scenarios that stall real deals.

Innovation & Agility

Best for: product, R&D, strategy teams, agile organizations, anyone mid-transformation

Brainstorms die from premature judgment; change initiatives die from resistance. Both are habits, and improv retrains them. These sessions build cultures where ideas get built up before they're torn down — and where disruption is met with curiosity instead of fear.

What teams practice

  • Generative brainstorming — separating idea creation from evaluation, deferring judgment for real.
  • Breaking habitual thinking — exercises that force novel associations and kill the obvious first answer.
  • Comfort with ambiguity — acting on incomplete information and adjusting fast.
  • Resilience — treating setbacks as scene partners: acknowledge, integrate, continue.
  • Change adoption — reframing "this is being done to us" into "what do we build with this?"

Great pairing: run an innovation session the morning of a real strategy or roadmap workshop — afternoon idea volume goes up noticeably.

Keynotes, Energizers & Events

Best for: conferences, kickoffs, all-hands, holiday events, offsite anchors

Sometimes the goal is simpler: bring a room to life. Our event programs deliver the energy of a comedy show with the side effects of a workshop — strangers connected, hierarchy flattened, and the rest of your agenda riding the lift.

Options

  • Icebreaker energizers (45–60 min) — get 20 or 200 people laughing together before the real agenda.
  • Interactive keynotes — a funny, research-backed talk on trust and communication, with the audience on its feet.
  • Custom comedy — improvised entertainment built around your company, inside jokes responsibly included.
  • Offsite anchors — a half-day experience that becomes the part of the retreat people actually talk about.

Planner-friendly: we handle AV needs, room layout guidance, and agenda integration. One vendor call, zero surprises.

Delivery Formats

Every program above is available in each format — we'll recommend the right one on your discovery call.

  • Energizer (45–60 min) — high-impact opener for events and meetings.
  • Workshop (2–3 hrs) — the standard: deep practice on one theme with debriefs.
  • Intensive (half/full day) — multiple themes, woven for offsites and retreats.
  • Series (4–8 sessions) — compounding skill development; best for leadership and sales.
  • Virtual & hybrid — purpose-built remote exercises, not stage games over Zoom. Remote teams may need this most.

Group sizes from 6 to 200+. Pricing is custom by size, length, and location — request a quote and we'll respond within one business day.
